I have known a couple. More interesting, I knew a fellow who was in the group that did what seals do today in WWII. At Normandy, he was in a raft that lost its oars and was afloat at night just off the Normandy shore the night before the invasion, having planted demolition explosives under water. They floated there all night plainly hearing the voices of the Nazi soldier. He said it was pretty terrifying.

Yes I worked with SEALs in Vietnam at MAC-V SOG. I also had a cross-trained Corpsman / SEAL assigned to my Spike Recon Team.
