yes because when i was 24 i found a lump and went to my docs and they said it was probably nothing to worry about but just keep an eye on it and check regulary

Yes I do, because I LOVE my breasts, and want very much to keep them. Self-checks aren't perfect, but your GYN sees you once a year, you can check yourself a dozen times (or more, if you're really into it) in that same length of time, so why not do it ? For added safety, I always have my husband double check, just in case I missed anything. ;)

Yes... because my mum's had breast cancer. Well it's not so much me that examines them, I just tell my boyfriend to look out for lumps, seeing as he feels them so much I may as well kill 2 birds.... x

All the time, cancer runs in my family and my auntie died of breast cancer at the age of 50.

At least twice a month. It is heartstopping when you find something though, I check all of the time and never really considered what I would do if I found a lump. Found one on Saturday - doctor has told me that he is 95% certain that it is nothing but have been refered to the breast clinic this Thursday. If it is something - I have at least caught it early. If you know someone who doesn't check them selves - nag & pester them until they do. (that goes for mens dangleberries too)
