Yes, I used to stand on his feet when I was little and dance with him :)

Literally no, figuratively yes. My father was a rancher,calf roper, worked in the oilfield and a very rough and very strong willed. He at times did not treat my mother well. I was in the strange position of keeping my own father in line as far as yes and no in many ways. We "danced" figuratively many times. He was wise enough to acquiesce in many instances to what I told him was the right thing to do, sometimes not.

I've danced around him a few times trying not to get whooped but we never danced together.

Only if he's extremely drunk. There's a picture of me when I'm about five, at a party my parents had at the house. This man is holding me up and dancing, but whenever I ask who he is, nobody knows. So some random person came in and decided to pick me up. I find that slightly weird, but there we go. So even if I haven't really danced with my dad, there's always that erm...strange man.

Yup Yup! On my 18th birthday and when I was 25. I was 25 when I got married and I danced with my dad on my wedding day! :)
