I allways try for the red n yellow ones
-
PARK AVE. & BOARDWALK OF COURSE IF NOT THEN ALL THE RAILROADS
-
Um Board Walk and Park Place, duh!
-
I dont know why, but I feel the need to buy the run down purple ones. And the obvious Boardwalk and Park Place.
-
I'm partial to St. Charles Place... I also like Marvin Gardens.
-
Marvin Gardens.
-
Marvin gardens. That's the street I always beet someone on.
-
the railroads... i have a thing for them.
-
Mayfair
-
I always try to get the orange one. Everyone always seems to land on those.

Mediterranian (sp?) and Baltic. They're right after Go, and everyone lands on them at least once. Cheap and easy to get hotels on, and they're quick moneymakers. I like to say that, when playing Monopoly, i'm a bit of a slum lord. I get both the utilities and the light blues and purples on that first stretch. It doesn't seem like much, but it pays off. Everyone lands there at least twice in a game.
-
The yellow set and the green set. I make bank buy building hotels on them. =)
-
I'm with Ladyluck - Baltic and Mediterranean and then St. James, Tennessee and New York Avenues...ahhh...so nice to get that "GO money"
-
english version oxford street, bond street regent street, always the green ones
-
I always try for the red and orange sets with atleast one of the yellow and green to stop the other player(s) from getting them! The purples can nearly always be avoided and the others just dont charge enough rent to make up for the cost of the houses/hotels!
-
the greens for they are the best for the ratio to spaces of purple are higher, therefor it is worth more to invest into it.
-
the orange are the best. then i get all the railroads. u cant beat me with that lol
-
Both utilities all 4 railroad along with Broadway & Park Place. Would put hotels on Broadway & Park Place.
-
Oranges, Greens and the Stations - if possible.
-
Red and Orange then work for Yellow. If I feel lucky I would go for green as well. Those are all I have ever needed and it helped to keep me in the game for a long time if not win as well.
-
Electric Avenue and the we take it higher, Oh No!!
-
Boardwalk and Park Place.
-
Bascally I want which ever set I can get hold of. So I buy everything possible at first (does depepnd on the number of players). The one I least like is the Greens. (Im from England - so we have different names for them - but the colours are the same I hope). If there are lots of players then whoever gets the first set has a big advantage - hence I dont really mind, I love the light blues becuase they are so cheap - especially at the beginning of the game. However there is nothing like having the dark blues...
-
i like purples...i know you dont win that much but people always seem to land on them... then reds!
-
parkplace and boardwalk
-
pinks and reds
-
i try to get the orange and boardwalk and park place and then i am set.
-
i would have to say the reds and dark blues
-
The cheap purple ones and the light blue. The cheapest ones are the best and that is how I always win. I never waste my money on Board Walk or Park Place unless im buying it so the other player doesn't get a monopoly.
-
the purple ones and the pink ones... there both really cheap and affordable to build hotels. purple and pink are not my favorite colors. its blue and t am not a boy. i am a girl who loves bold colors like blue or green...
-
1) Baltic and Mediterranian....hotels are cheap and someone passing "Go" is always likely to land on one or the other..... 2) St. Charles, States and Virgina 3) St. James, Tennessee and New York are also my favs 4) all the Railroads if I can get them - a sweet $200
-
Everything that I can but loves to build on everything from the purples, Baltic & Mediterranian, through the Reds. The yellow is ok too but Green and Dark Blue most of the time don't work unless you get it quick and early before anyone else has anything.
-
i buy everything i land on, i love the railroads, the light blue the orange and the yellow
-
Mayfair.
