yes i think that they can sense fear or at least mine can

I dunno, but they sure sense a newly steam cleaned carpet.

Yes mine always knows when its time for the vets or going to the kennels it takes my ages to get her in the travel box,and all this starts before i get the box out.

Yes i am sure they do. It seems to be an inate sense of animals to smell fear.

Cats (and dogs) are adept at picking up your feelings, so they respond very often to your concerns - like they KNOW they are going to the vet. They most certainly experience the DIRECT feeling of fear in confrontational or aggressive situations.
