Can a Car be repoed for TT&L fees if actual payment for car is made? And can it be repoed just after 2 days of being late. Also what is the max. finance charge allowed in Tx.

well it sounds pretty fishy to me. they should have tried to contact you. I am not sure what the max finance charge is. you should call the car people and make sure they have all your contact numbers and look thru your contract with them. they sound like loan sharks.

The answer to whether or not it can be repo'd after two days of being late is that it depends on your credit contract. However, under most credit contracts the vehicle can be repo'd the second after a payment is missed. Most creditors won't do this because they have a better chance recovering their money by working with you, but they can if they want to. Sorry, I don't know what the max finance charge is in Texas.
