None of the others involved manned missions.

NASA missions from the 50's, 60's, and 70's took place at a time when the average person (private citizen) had a rotary dial telephone and maybe a CB radio. Now, with things like the internet, cell phones, and GPS satellites, the average person has more resources available to do their own research into US government projects. To look into things that are conspiracy-theory subject matter. The government/military is not as able to bullshit people as easily as they were 40 or 50 years ago. They still can, and make NO mistake, they do - but the more technology we have available to us, the easier it is to "keep tabs" on people, government programs, or anything else for the most part.

The manned moon landings, with such a huge Audience and interest, meant that The original conspiritors could invent the elaborate theory, and make lots of money from the uninformed masses who were interested. Now-a-days, only more knowledgable types give a damn about the robots on Mars, and these people would easily sink any rediculous myths a charlatan might come up with.

Give them time...

The first moon landing was essentially a race between the Soviet Union and the US to have their country be the first to set foot on the moon. That period of the Cold War placed huge political, technological, and popular (being the "first man on the moon") pressure on both countries to do something not only dangerous, but also very expensive. Already, you might see, there are opportunities for either country to want to "cheat" and claim victory. There are plenty of scapegoats, one being Hollywood (obviously based in the US); the silver screen was evolving during that time, so it's easy to claim that the low-quality video was faked, and easier still to claim a radio broadcast was doctored in some manner. As it stands now, there are no two countries racing to get to one planet or the other, besides which it's too expensive to get into that type of battle even if we wanted. So, the short and sweet answer to why? Because it was so easy to create those conspiracy theories. Why not the mars landings and voyager missions? Because it's not that important to us.
