    Same problem here. Its eventually gonna start clicking if you keep starting to spin the fly wheel, thats bad. Take your starter out and get it tested somewhere. Could just be a celanoid. Other causes: battery, alternator, gas pump.. Sounds like a problem with the starter itself tho.

    I have a similar problem. This morning when trying to turn the engine it just wanted to whine at me quite loudly. upon the 3rd try it then started no problem. It has only done this this morning so I dont know what the problem is. Somebody advised me that it is the battery but all electrics seemed to be working fine. I was wondering if something had trouble engaging when i tried to start it this morning.
