  • It ran off with Vanilla Coke and they're having a fling at a flavor development lab somewhere in New Jersey...;-D....
  • I think it was just an experiment on Pepsi's part and people didn't have a whole lot of interest in it. I'm guessing it may have cost slightly more to make than regular so they didn't bother.
  • People in general don't associate the absence of color with intense flavor and satisfaction. Unless it's supposed to be crystal clear (like 7-up and the like), people tend to associate color with a particular flavor and will enjoy the product more if it looks the way they think it should taste. Hence the abundance of artificial coloring in our diet.
