  • not a single thing.. except that my P3n75 may need to be bigger, and I qualify for a bunch of loans!!
  • Zillions of things. I don't use desk dictionaries much anymore. The online ones are excellent, including the transation dictionaries. I can wallow around in word-chasing all day. Also - if there's a brand-new word or expression, I can find it on the internet in enough contexts that I can define it, YEARS before it ends up in any print dictionary. That's just an example. I have lots of garden books, but the internet goes farther, sooner.
  • I've Learned to type with two fingers now instead of just one. :]
  • Abslutly..If I need information on something all I have to do is google it. I use it mostly to find out information and treatments on animals.
  • Loads of stuff and the biggest thing i learnt was how boring my life was without the internet,i have met some wonderful people and broadened my horizons no end.
  • Been learning from the internet for the past 10 years. Also lost knowledge because of it... Darn video games. :-D
  • Books will always be a superior place to find knowledge for me. I learn things online almost every day. I constantly search for new things to know in the areas that im interested in and some that I cant stand. Books however have editors and publishers and things such as that that give them tons more credibility. To use internet sites as your only form of citing sources would be completely wrong in my opinion. The internet does however have sites on it that allow you to access periodicals and journals and the such for a nominal fee. These sites are excelent but you need to have the money or the willingness to fork over said money and the library is much cheaper. I'd say my general rule is that I find things on the internet and later on if I can I try to confirm them with books or at least numerous other internet sites to check for continuity. Only problem with that is plagerism runs so wide and free on the internet you can never tell if something is somebody's orignal idea or if they stole it from another website. Lyrics pages are so notorious for this because they all have the same mistakes exactly. I'm not sure its illegal though with something like lyrics which are written by the artist orignally anyway.
