I would do my best to alert the authorities in that country. Also, maybe get ahold of some organization like a battered wives or children group. Something like social workers, (if they have them in that country). And, you could try contacting a church, to see if they could just go by and visit. They may be able to get the abuser to at least let the child come to church, where someone could hear the situation and try to get the ball rolling to get the child out of there.
I know that some of those organizations will make the pedophile think the child turned them in, so you have to be careful. Good luck, Jodie!
Talk to them and always be there , but more practically if you can find another person in the same country as that person, that you could trust to stand in for you.
If this is ongoing it must be stopped at once, no child or young person should suffer peodophilia through lack of helpfrom a responsible adult.
Well of course you can contact police in that person's area and tell them of your concerns (but whether this would actually help the person in the long term is subjective). Or/and you can just try to support the person being abused...be there to listen to them when perhaps others aren't.
jodie44 time is crucial, Call the police where ever you are located, ask to speak to a dick (detective)regarding a suspected pediphile in a different State, country whatever, they will transfer you to someone who specializies in this area of law enforcement. They will go step by step on what needs to be done. Do not try to handle this by yourself. These people are trained just for these crimes. Good luck.
No matter you need to contact the authority's there , The children will be lost and in pain the rest of their lives - I know all to well
Hello Jodie - Hugs to you
Depends on what two countries, yours & theirs.
Laws vary, but the fastest way to get them help is to submit a file to the police of the victim's country ... or interpol ...
You can call the cops in that area and tell them your concernes and turn over any evidence you have. By law most of them are requiered to investagate a tip like your's. And do what ever you can to stay in contact with the victem so they don't feel abandoned.

Those are some wonderful ideas, Brokedog, and thank you. This person lives in England, BTW.
