Help answer this question below.

Someone told me to chek the carbs , cause the car sat so long, and the float valve could be stuck?

    Finding a really good talented carburator guy is not an easy task in this day & age, since nearly everything is fuel injected.They do still exist though. Go for someone that has been in the auto repair business a very long time.

    Yes it is possible. If you do not know what you are doing then don't do anything and hire somebody who does know what a carburetor is and where the float valve is to do the work for you. Most mechanics will even let you watch so you can learn so you can do it yourself next time.
