If you do not know the code then all that you need is the owners name the VIN #, the serial number on the car and some other basic information. I assmume this is a factory radio because I have never seen a after market radio with code protection built in.

If it is a factor-installed stereo, there should be a code as part of the owner's documents.

If you can't find the owner's documents, you'll need to go to a dealer (there may be a small charge).

If it's an aftermarket radio, again you'll need the documentation that came with the radio. If you don't have it, contact a car stereo dealer. They may know the procedure or who to contact.

Good luck
