If it is a factor-installed stereo, there should be a code as part of the owner's documents. If you can't find the owner's documents, you'll need to go to a dealer (there may be a small charge). If it's an aftermarket radio, again you'll need the documentation that came with the radio. If you don't have it, contact a car stereo dealer. They may know the procedure or who to contact. Good luck

If you do not know the code then all that you need is the owners name the VIN #, the serial number on the car and some other basic information. I assmume this is a factory radio because I have never seen a after market radio with code protection built in.
