  • The correct name of that album is "Yesterday and Today" and it's very rare to find existing copies. If anyone here has it,treasure it as it's worth at least $40,000.00 according to this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yesterday_and_Today
  • yes! check out www.rare4sale.com A 3rd state copy is for sale at that site. and it's dubbed simply "The Butcher Album" and was actually a compilation album Capitol Records released. They were in the habit of butchering their UK LPs by stealing songs , making an original album like "Rubber Soul" considerably shorter with less songs and also adding songs from their singles not previously on any album. This is how "Yesterday and Today" was created. The picture cover was actually used on a single but was never meant as an album cover. This is totally Capitol's screw up.
  • yep, my father in-law sells rare records and has 4 1st stage butcher albums. One of them was never even opened and still has the original packaging. they are worth quite a bit so i guess being a pack rat paid off for once. haha
  • I have a second state Yesterday and Today album. I bought it from a used album shop in Dallas in 1992. The "pasteover" album is in good to very good condition, in my opinion. I might part with it if I could be convinced that it was going to a good home...
  • Yes , have a original that slipped out before they started pasting other cover over, they are very rare have seen one other besides one in Hard Rock all others were peeled
  • Yes I do have one that is in mint condition and not peeled. It is original and unopened!!!! It's going for nearly $1500 on ebay. I'll let mine go for $1000...maybe! Give me a shout if interested. My email address is Blazinasian77@hotmail.com
