  • try WD40 it removes just about anything. wash well with soap and water when your done.
  • When I did roofing, I used gasoline to get the tar off of my hands and tools, this might help, but, it sounds like its been there for a while... I would first heat it up, and scrape off all that I could, let it cool down, and try rubbing some gasoline into it, it should come off. I hope this helps.
