It could be female Ginko tree. The most beautiful one I ever saw was in riverdale (Bronx) New York, in the late fifties. It was about forty feet high, and its branches must have spread out over a forty foot circumference. Its trunk was huge, and somewhat craggy from age, I guess. It had been planted near the portico of a driveway at the entrance of a mansion that had become the dormitory for the Horace Mann School. . I am not sure, but I would guess that it was around one hundred years old. The mansion and the tree came down in 1957, but I have never forgotton that massive lovely tree,including the stink of its fruit.
