  • They both were fascinating women. They both were incredibly talented artists though there styles and subject matter was entirely different. I couldn't choose between their art because I appreciate both, but as a woman and someone I'd want to spend time with, it'd be Frida hands down.
  • Georgia O'Keeffee. Her works bring back memories for me.
  • I'm more of a Joan Miro person myself. But out of those two, I'd go with Frida Kahlo, call me tasteless, but I just don't see much... Humanity, behind Georia O'Keefe's work, it all seems too glossy, too finished, it doesn't have the sort of rustic feel about it that I need in art to properly see the feeling behind it. Although as people, I think they were both pretty damned fascinating.
  • I like Frida Kahlo's self-portraits. I discovered them when I was about thirteen, my uncle had a few prints up in the corridor of his house and I was fascinated by them because they seemed really honest somehow- you got the feeling she really looked like that, and that perhaps though she wasn't a conventional beauty there was something like pride or defiance coming out of the pictures that sort of commanded you to see the beauty, that claimed to be somewhere higher and more challenging. it's as if she's daring you to be stupid enough or cowardly enough to find them unattractive.
  • O'Keeffe!
  • Frida Kahlo.
  • O'Keeffe is one of the finest artists of all time. Frida was great, but she was not the peer of O'Keeffe.
  • I never hear of Georgia O'Keeffe before. I just googled to find some of her pictures. I found some good pictures, but also many which did not interested me at all. Some pictures: http://en.easyart.com/art-prints/Georgia-O-Keeffe/A-Sunflower-from-Maggie-1937-134727.html I already know Frida Kahlo for some years and I appreciate her work. It is not just a painter, painting is just one expression of her way to live her life. She had an interesting life. Some pictures of her work: http://www.otherart.com/2005/themanyfridas.html
  • Georgia O'Keeffee. I love her use of color.
