  • Simple AOL sux. I got High Speed Cable internet. Dial-up is like dinosaur internet technology. I feel bad for you. Did you have to use a CD Rom to get your internet service instead of having a technician hook you up to the fast track.
  • I have AOL as a provider and I always use Internet Explorer or Firefox as a browser because it is most of the times much better than to use the AOL environment. That is my experience. I noticed there are a lot of functions that you do not have in the AOL environment, for instance an easy swapping between windows. At times I noticed the connection under the AOL environment was better, but that was the only advantage. Here some further information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AOL http://www.babeonhd.com/aol_sucks.shtml http://pages.sbcglobal.net/cybersaur/aol_sucks.htm As I had a dial up connection, I started AOL to go in the internet and then I surfed with Internet Explorer or Firefox. Now I have an ADSL connection and I mainly use AOL to read my mail, so usually I do not have any AOL window open.
