Why does an increasing amount of water continue to flow out of my faucet after I've engaged my Brita water filter?

Could be a washer problem. time to start all over again and re-install line by line, from the manual. a washer may have either been left out or not completely sealed, at the time of installation. good luck.

The Brita water filtration for faucets are very fragile. The pressure of the water sometimes cause the Brita to crack. The crack may be so small that you only see water dripping. If this is not the case, tighten the system on to the sink faucet. It may be defective so you can exchange it. All this happened to me.
