Should you say excuse me if you fart in a public bathroom in or out of a stall or is it acceptable just to say nothing?

Just make believe it NEVER HAPPENED. Everyone in the bathroom makes believe that nothing that is occuring in there is actually happening. It's like a social void in which anything is acceptable. Well, mostly anything.

You should always say excuse me, as you never know if someone else is around. If they smell it and they know it's not them, they are going to think you are one rude person and inconsiderate and myabe did it on purpose or didn't try to hold it. Excusing yourself says you know how to behave around people.

don't say exscuse me. that's what the bathroom is for and if they didn't want to hear someone fart then they shouldn't be using a public restroom.

Maybe if you do it out of the stall, but I wouldn't worry if you were in the stall because toilets are for farting in anyway.
