  • No, those are not the values I want him to learn.
  • Why wouldnt you!?
  • I let my three-year-old daughter watch Simpsons. I don't want her to grow up with those values, exactly, but that can be achieved better by TALKING about what happens and teaching them to deal with bad values than sheltering them from them, and never showing them how to react. That way when her aunt gives her a toy I JUST told her she could not have, we can say "Remember in the Simpsons when..." and she can remember she's supposed to say "No, Mommy said I can't have that." Also, she thinks the Simpsons is hilarious. She tells me they're very naughty and shouldn't do/say things like that when they do. She laughs at them being stupid, but doesn't copy them.
  • When I was a young kid I watched the Simpson's without my parents knowing. Some of the material could be considered wrong or bad, but I got over that aspect quickly. It's intelligent in many ways and taught me a lot about people and daily interactions. It ws a really great learning experience. I also turned out to be a mixture of Bart and Lisa. I will definitely let my kids watch it when they reach the age and aren't afraid or extremely affected by the Itchy and Scratchy show. It's up to you and how well you know your kids. I support liberty and freedom.
  • I don't have them, but Certainly. The Simpsons really aren't so bad, and there are so much worse out there for them to watch. I actually really like The Simpsons.
