Are there going to be any more characters added to the X-Men comics? Would it be possible to send in suggestions of possible characters?

Oh, without a doubt they'll be adding new X-Men. Despite last year's post House of M de-powering of millions of mutants we're still seeing new faces. In the past year they even dug up a new, super-powered brother for Alex (Havok) & Scott (Cyclops) Summers and had him retroactively made an X-Man in a previously untold tale. It won't do any good to send in suggestions, though, as they're legally obligated to stop reading as soon as they see it's a character or story suggestion. What happens in the comics biz all the time is people see things happen and characters introduced in stories that they suggested in a letter months or even years earlier. Most of the time it's perfectly innocent -- ideas in comics flow along similar lines -- but I've met several people over the years convinced that their ideas were "stolen." So, you pretty much need to get in the door as a writer if you want your characters to ever appear in a comic.
