No doubt about it: Johnny Carson. Man I miss his humor.
-
Letterman, for he tells it like it is. Jay Leno is too wimpy, and being broadcasted from LA. says it all.For Johnny Caron ,I have never heard of him.
-
Carson is classic, but Letterman helped to really shape my sense of humor.
-
David Letterman.
-
Jay Leno definitely.
-
No Conan O'Brien? I pick Conan.
-
Carson. Leno is ok, Letterman is a farce.
-
If I must choose, Leno. Carson was great in his day, and can't be beat for longevity.(even if he spent a lot of his later years with fill-ins while he "vacationed". Letterman does less than nothing for me and Paul Schaefer is downright annoying. I really like (Craig Ferguson)(Thanks Barculuv!)the guy that used to be on the Drew Carey show.

You are comparing one deceased icon to two contemporary rivals. Carson was the best. But he is dead of course. For LIVE talk show hosts, I pick Leno as most versatile, entertaining and creative.
