Yes, I really like this idea. We could bring newer questions to the forefront. After 100 answers what is left to be said? You can't flag duplicate answers(nor should you) but in 100 answers I am sure at least 20 are the same answer!

If it's a good question archive it and make it available if the same or similar question is posted again.

yes cant say im not sick of seeing repeat questions, you think they are put to rest because you dont see them for a while then pop they are there again.

if there is some campaign or something for it i will be the first to sign in

Absolutely not. The fact that a question was so good that so many people answered it gives it legendary status and makes it a true classic. Even though you may not get feedback from an answerer, the odds are that the poster of the question may rate or respond to your answer since your answer is sent to their feedback. I like this because it makes sure that each answer will be attended to by the asker even if you are the 1000th answerer. Opinion type questions have an unlimited answer-span whereas fact do not. This is just the nature of the question. 100 years from now, there could be 10,000 answers for a lot of questions. There will probably be a relevance search criteria inter-questionally that will help drill down the inquirious person's quest for an answer. This is one of the coolest phenomenas I am proud to be a part of.

Absolutely not. It would be like moderating the questions for content which isn't explicitly banned by the rules, which in turn would lead to all kinds of headaches for the staff: "Why did you erase the question 'If you visited Ireland, where would you go first?'??? Are you racist against the Irish???". Besides, the link to "Latest Q&A" is very visible and very easy to click on, if you want to avoid those--gasp!--*horrible* *evil* questions which are still at the top of the list!

yes but not 100+,200+ more likely.

I think something should be done, so that they are not in the forefront when a year or so has passed, eg the 14 yr.old with no gf, and the ones which are time specific ie 'what are you doing for Christmas' when its the height of summer
-
I think that there should be something like that.

Hell yeah! I'm so sick of seeing the same ones at the top. I think every year it should refresh the quesitons.
