an old wives tale states that it is ill luck to keep white peacock feathers in your home... But I don't see why it wouldn't be ok to keep the feathers in your home if you want to.

In some cultures it's suppose to be bad luck/karma because the peacock feather symbolizes pride. But then in others they are used as bridal gifts and ornaments to attract beauty and love. Basically, it's good if you believe it's good... it's bad if you believe it's bad.

I used to have a flock of peafowl and I loved putting the tail feathers all in a vase like a huge spray of flowers.
