None. I know how to chop, stir, beat, and whip something. I know how to bake, fry, deep fry and boil things too. They always add too much salt and I generally remain to be impressed with seeing people who have no other possibility of getting on TV than the fact that they like to make things in the kitchen. Most everything they make is common sense and only a novice would be impressed with these shows. You hit a nerve with this question because by far it is one of the least appealing genres on TV, only second worse compared to the shopping channels.

As many as possible I enjoy most of them and have gotten many a good recipe or inspiration from them. One of my favourites - Cooking with the Wolfman. I got my family's favourite meatloaf recipe from a TV show. If you're good, I'll share it with you.

Well, I love to cook so as far as I'm concerned you can't have too many to suit me. Remember, different strokes....etcetera. Just because it may not be your cup of tea, simply avoid the food channel and everything will be hunky dory. If you don't turn the show on, you won't even know it's there. :)
