thats an old wives tale that has been around for years,during a blood transfusion you can see the blood leaving your body and going through the tube to the plastic sac and its always reddish.

No, it's not blue. It's dark red. The reason some people think it's blue is because veins near the skin surface appear blue.

No. people have said that but it is only a myth. But, in some lighting, it can be a purplish color. NOT BLUE.
