  • I don't have a single piece of my own art. I don't know where they all went.
  • My girl scout sash with all my badges..gone but not forgotten.
  • I lost a box full of Christmas ornaments. Most were ones I made as a child and some I had just been collecting most of my life. Totally bummed me out! You just can't replace that kind of stuff :(
  • My scrapbook. I had it as a kid and lost it when I was 18 when I moved.
  • When I was little I had an art book from kindergarden and first grade. I remembered I loved that thing a lot, because I'd tried so hard to do some half decend drawings (I'm a horrible drawer). My mom threw it away soon after I got it from the teacher, and I refused to do art after that. I also got a silver teddy bear necklance with golden paws. My father gave it too me when I was 8 or so, maybe younger. Well, you know kids, I lost it, and it's been 10 years, and he still gets mad about me loosing it.
  • My brother and I, this past December, cleaned out the house we grew up in. My parents had lived there for almost 40 years and my mother had saved just about everything (there were still boxes from when they'd packed up each of their parents' houses). I was also going through a move myself and was feeling suffocated with stuff. Our tendency was to keep absolutely everything, because it all had sentimental value, but there was no time and no room for it all. Now most of it is in storage waiting for me to go throug and "put away". I'm trying not to think about the consequences of my impulsive decisions of one overwhelming weekend. Was is a good decision to toss the dresses I wore when I was three? Did I keep my first baby shoes? Did I find all the silver? I'll just have to keep watching "Antiques Roadshow" to see if anything turns up.
  • I lost my grandmother's engagement ring...ugh. I still have the wedding band. I begged my mom for it for years. I didn't have it more than a couple of years, and BOOM...it was just...gone! I simply can't figure out what happened to it. I didn't wear it. And why is the band still here? Crimeny...if my mom ever found out, she would freak! I've been trying to find a replacement on Ebay, but nothing matches it exactly. I sure hope Mom doesn't ask to see it any time soon!
  • I car my car stolen at the worst possible time; I was moving. I had all my personal belongings stolen, even my underwear. The worst was that all my jewelry was gone, too, even my grandmother's senior ring which I wore for years.
  • my virginity
