  • I wouldn't support it. It's called a refuge for a reason and there is great debate about what damage would be done to the area. Moreover, experts say it won't do much to lower global oil prices. Why disturb and possibly destroy pristine land for greed?   • Not until they have developed and deployed cleaner and less evasive drilling methods. Exxon still has not paid up for the Valdez spill. The oil companies certainly are not hurting for money and the oil companies are not even the players that a re pushing hard to drill there. There is no harm in waiting. That oil is not going anywhere.
