How do you tell someone who has a bad violent temper that they have one?

They probably already know it. Maybe there is something else you really want to tell them, like how their temper makes you feel or affects how other people feel about them.

If you really feel they don't know this and you really want to tell them, might I suggest a note. (you don't want to get hit)

Thanks. Its really getting me down. Its my mums bf, and he looses it so often. They have a 2 year old here too and i feel bad for him. He would never hurt him, but its what he does to my mum that gets me.

I feel bad for your whole family. Sounds like the best you can do is be a support to your Mom and the 2 year old. Have you told your Mom how you feel? She's the one who really needs to hear it. And take good care of yourself. She may feel tired or trapped and unable to do anything at this point, but maybe down the road. Did I mention take good care of yourself? - that's the most important part. Good luck.

Thankyou very much. Yes i am here for both of them, and seem to be the mortar holding the family together. Well hopefully everything will be ok by tomorrow morning, then we'll go through the same next week! Thanks again. Hopefully yes she will see soon. Ive talked to her about it but she just turns to the booze.
