  • I think that the name-caller must be either less intelligent or arguing for something about which they have insufficient knowledge.
  • I think the other person has a lot of integrity and composure. I think I know what this is about and that's all I'm saying. Ad Hominin attacks are never warranted and always detract from the character of the person who resorts to such wordage.

  • I think that the name-caller cannot debate their chosen topic with integrity and knowledge. To name call during a debate really undermines what debate is, and shows the name-caller for the petty person they are being.
  • Enormous maturity and objectivity on the second person's part. (Not always easy to do).
  • I think, "How do I get in on this?"
  • It is sad to see and I did happen to see that earlier and was totally shocked by the behavior - I find it so unnessary and didn't help it only hindered others that may have seen it -- +5
  • I'm just reminded that some people are polite and pleasant while others are rude and objectionable. Fortunately, I think to myself, the former are the majority.
  • I tend to think poorly of the name caller. It's a poor debater who has no leg to stand on so he/she resorts to name calling. How hard is it to just look up stuff to support your view point or in cases where its merely opinion, just to stick to your guns. It's silly.
  • It's calling Flaming. When one person just starts attacking the other. There are people called "trolls" however that go around and flame people just for the sake of hoping to start an argument and get them to go nuts. Then they sit back and watch the fireworks. Usually people that take themselves too seriously, don't get the humor, or are new to the internet explode when this happens to them. It is rather funny to watch. Just remember on the internet, nobody cares. Make your point and then have a laugh. That's about all you can do.
