My number one turn on is without a doubt my wife of 32 years. She was still a knockout and held that great body of hers all these years. She was a turn on to me in all facets including her happy go lucky, carefree attitude. The only thing that could affect her or change her was cancer. Sadly I lost her one year ago Saturday. I still think of her everyday and just had to respond to this with my heart.

- i think being nice & non-aggressive are two separate things. however, i have noticed in my experience, that a**holes tend to be more likely to order me around in bed, etc. some of them have pulled my hair (just hard enough), bitten me, etc. personally, i like all that, but sometimes i turn the tables as well. anyhow, i think different people are into different levels of aggression. you can always tell someone your fantasy beforehand to see if they are up to the challenge or you can feel it out as you go, but i'd recommend starting with minimal aggression just in case. some people like to be scratched, but don't want claw marks, you know?

- You and every other composer, Dan. A pedal harp CAN make accidentals where a lap harp can only make sharps, and it requires a free hand. There are seven pedals on a harp with three positions each. One for each of the pitches. If the C pedal is in the middle, it is C. If you push the C pedal down, it makes ALL the C's into C#s. If you let it up it's all C flats. An interval of an octave and a fifth in one hand in the harp is fairly normal, and much easier to play than tiny close-together notes. But if you want to write music for the harp, my best advice is to get to know a harpist.

- @dan: it's not so much that i quit the piano, but that i started discovering other ways to fill my time that seemed much more enjoyable. i was young, i had parties to go to, people to flirt with, and trouble to cause. hehe. okay, i mostly stayed out of trouble. mostly. now i just don't play cuz i don't have a piano in my pad. i've moved around quite a bit since the age of 18, so even if i owned a piano, it's doubtful that it would have made it all the way here with me! i may get one of those nice keyboards that are *supposed* to sound and feel like a piano at some point... i do miss playing a lot! i also tried to play the guitar, but i think i splained why that didn't last long. :)

  -elty, i'm not in such bad shape. i was aware of the harp's 7 pedals and their positions and generally how a harp works but i suppose you're right, i've never worked with a harpist before.

- that's better. on top of guitar and piano, i can also play bass, mandolin, ukulele, fife, flute, and to a lesser extent, banjo and trumpet. the banjo isn't mine so i don't play it much, and my trumpet is kinda beat up so it's hard to play, but once you learn a trumpet it pretty much sticks. oh, and i'm also a pretty decent singer. not to mention i'm a recording/mixing/mastering engineer and a composer. how's that for music ability, doll? haha. i have a crazy goal of one day being able to record myself playing all the instruments of a full orchestra and call myself the one man orchestra. i just need to figure out reed instruments... i should probably get a clarinet or something. dang, i can really ramble on when talkin about music. good times.

- i was taught how to play the trumpet when i was a kid. about a year ago or so my pops gave me his trumpet and i realized i can still play the thing. i just had to remember note positions. see that's the thing, i've been takin piano lessons and guitar lessons for a while and they're probably the two hardest instruments to really learn. so once you get those figured out, learning other instruments is alot easier. so yeah, everything else i taught myself to play.

- i think the yamaha p-70 is as good as a digital piano gets that's less than a thousand bucks and sounds and feels close to a grand piano. the keys could be weighted a bit more, but they are graded (meaning the lower keys are heavier than the higher ones) so, yup.
  it's pretty hard not to play bluegrass on the ol' banjo. i've written some really dark sounding finger picking stuff on the guitar but when i translate it over to banjo it just sounds like a toe tappin good time! haha. that's funny you decided to entice me about the top 40, but i won't say nothin because i think i gave you enough to think over in that email i just sent you. heh...

- wow!!! that wasn't exactly the easiest to play song i've heard, but it was fantastical. the composer seemed to have a bit of a fetish for trills though! haha. there is one thing that is repeated in that song and i can't remember what it is called or if it even has a name, but i do remember i thought it to be quite fun. i am talking about when you play every key, black and white, from top to bottom or bottom to top, with the same volume and speed for each note. oh, and it is fast paced. :) some might say, it is the punk rock of classical music.
