They are still mothers so no moral issues as far as I am concerned and they often have to work twice as hard, so they should be treated even better in my book.
-
of course. This is mothers day...not *the day for mothers that I in my bigotted narrowmindness deam worthy* day.
-
Your reffering to Mothers Day, right? Absolutely, if you gave birth, your a Mom, and entitled to reap the rewards bestowed upon you. Happy Mothers Day to all you single and married Mom's out there!
-
Absolutely..they are mothers and should be respected just as much as a wed mother..Morals are selective and for the most part only brought into play when someone needs an excuse for their particular like or dislike of what others do..Case in point..I mean not to be insulting or offending to religious folks..but..Lots of the moral/religious teachers..arent so moral behind closed door now days.. Just my opinion..I could be wrong.. ;)

Yes, of course. In today's society, un-wed mothers really aren't *that* un-common. And if they were, it wouldn't really make the slightest bit of difference, they had a child; thus, they are a mother. Mother's day is not about morality; it is about the respect and love you have for your mother (and mothers in general) because of the valuable things she has given to you.
-
Of course!!! The fact that anyone would even consider that they should be treated otherwise is pretty disturbing. The only moral problem here is in the prejudice involved in treating one mother as "lesser" than another.
-
yes because we still have kids and iam one .
-
Yes they should, married or not they are still a mother.
-
Technically they are Mothers.
-
Heck yes! A mother is a mother. And single mothers often work way harder than married ones, I was a single mother in high school and then college and it is REALLY hard, and it is a HUGE sacrifice. I think teen mothers should be especially honored for choosing to keep their children instead of choosing abortion or adoption. U go girls!
-
My question is, why are you even calling this into question?
-
Mothers are mothers as far as Mother's Day goes...as a wise genealogist once said "The only line of which you can be sure is your mother's, as you only have your mother's word as to who your father is. " ;-)
-
In a response to your first question . . . I don't see why not.
-
I don't see a moral issue here. A mother is still a mother whether she is married or not.
-
It doesnt matter what kind of mom you are! You have a child therefore you get to celebrate Mother's Day! If people treated unwed mothers differently then i would be terribly upset! <--Plus i would be in the catagory myself!
