What's your opinion on people trying on shoes in shops without socks or tights on?

Used to work in a couple of shoe shops years ago and remember all manner of 'orrible, lumpy, smelly feet - YUK. I think its quite disgusting. I always ask for a fresh pop sock and, if they dont have them - I use my own. Yes, I AM that organised!

It should not be allowed because its unhygienic and a sure way of passing on athletes foot and verruca's,and disease of the toe nails.The problem is that people never consider that other people may have infections that can be transmitted to them.

As long as they don't have any smelly feet with blisters that are about to burst.

the shoe stores i shop in make sure you wear sock or pantyhose socks.
