Yes, but I found out who it was, and did the same to them when they were asleep upstairs. (I was very young at the time).

Yes - I went to pick up someone from work and within 2 hours someone had stoled my T.V. and my stero and the police did nothing

A "friend" took my wallet from my room when I lived in a dorm in college. It was found in a garbage can on his hall. He was later caught steeling money from someone on his hall. It did not feel good to have someone I know steal from me.

Yesm both at home and from our van. The van incident was awful. We wer at a concert and the cars wee all jampacked in this field at Greek Theather in L.A. You could barely get your doors open we were packed that tight. We locked our doors but someone did get in and stole all sorts of things. Becasue we wer just visiting LA for the concert (we didn't live there) we had our other clothes, tools for the long trip, cameras, stereo gone, we even had a huge antique 9' armoire but it was in pieces too big to get out the door with the cars too tightly packed. I guess that was a good thing becasue it was worth $2000. I felt so violated for years after. And it was so expensive to replace all those clothes and tools. It was awful. I still feel like it was almost a rape, feeling dirty for having our space invaded.

Yes, when I was a single parent my Christmas presents were stolen right from under my tree on Christmas Eve but my family came through and made sure my kids had presents back under the tree before they woke up.

We were robbed by the kids next door when I was still living at home. Despite a trail of coins leading out the window and to the back fence, they were never charged ("Not enough evidence"). I was robbed in Italy of my camera.

I was twice robbed at gunpoint as a pizza delivery driver. It happened at the Domino's restaurant I was working at, and happened a third time without me. All I could think about was the probability of getting murdered. Basically they were just really stupid ghetto blacks that were easy enough for the police to catch. I was detailed in the police report but wasn't such a good witness on the stand so they didn't use me. I don't know the outcome either. I delivered pizza for a long time back then and a little paranoia comes with the job. We work late at night and are easily set up where to be, and we carry pizza, money and have our own getaway car. I know there have been attempts to set us up to be mugged but we always avoided the suspicous houses so I guess they went to Plan B and robbed us at the restaurant late at night.

My car was broken into once on New Years. The worst part was they stole a bunch of my writing. Irreplacable.

I've been a victim of an attempted robbery. Yeah...he won't try that again. Boosh.
