Why when a person is in pain and dying do we try everything to keep them alive,but when your pet is suffering we put them to sleep to end their suffering?

Because it is not against the law to put your pet down..All keeping someone alive longer is doing is fattening the purses of Doctors and hospitals..They will literaly bleed the last dime out of you..

I'm not 100% sure but maybe because scientists have discovered more antibiotics and cures for humans instead of animals. And maybe because the animals aren't that as important as humans? Or maybe because humans...are maybe that's a good question... Hm...because people are more important to this world and I guess you can always get another pet but you can't get back the life of that person. You can't get the same personality and looks...

Because the law does not allow us to put them down.I would have a hard time watching someone I love suffer. Why do we not have a choice whether to live or die if we are ill?
