What operating system do you prefer? Windows, Linux, Mac etc.

I prefer windows, but that is only because I don 't know linux. I am about to learn it though and I am excited.

Windows, but only because it's the one I use. When I tried to switch to Linux several years ago it wouldn't recognise my modem so I couldn't use it to connect to the internet. As a result I switched back to Windows. I'll probably give Linux another go eventually though.

I run windows on most of my machines but one has linux on it and I like it as well. Mac is ok but alot of programs won't work with it.

The only choice for me now is: shall I stay by XP or move to Vista. I had a lot of fun with others OS before, but now I do not have much time for this. I do not work as a system administrator, and I do not know anybody using something else on his PC. Ok, maybe I do not talk to them about this issue.

Linux for a while now, and never going back. Although I might start using unix on a more day to day basis as well. I've used mac before and it just doesnt suit me.

I've used Linux at home and on my laptop for several years now. I love it, and will never go back to Windows. :)

I use Windows XP Home. I've used a couple of Linux distros but, at the time, none of them supported my modem so I couldn't get on line. I may have another try with it because I certainly like the idea of not being tied to the most attacked operating system in the world.

Linux and BSD are my favorites but I still have to touch the evil M$ products at work occasionally and sadly, I know them best.

prefer Linux, but am usually stuck with WinXP for compatibility for the more esoteric things I do on a PC.

Windows, Mac is way overrated and Linux requires far more effort to actually do anything than is worthwhile.
