Tired blood? what? Never, ever heard of it. How the hell does blood get tired? Sure, when red blood cells are more oxygenated they provide the body with more energy (hence blood doping), but that doesn't make blood 'tired'. It's blood for crying out loud!

This term was used in the 1950's in a Geritol commercial on the Ted Night Amateur Hour. Same vernacular as hot blooded or cold blooded.
