Do you prefer the British or the American version of sitcom show The Office and why?

I didn't like either of them that much to be honest. Infinitely preferred the British version though. Better subtlety and cynicism and originality...

I'm used to the American's version so I'll have to go with them. I'd like to see the British version though. Maybe Friartuck thinks their over the top but the last 2 epidsodes have been just outright halarious and it's easily my favorite sitcom.

The British version. Definitely. I loved it so much that I refuse to even watch the American version. It could never be as good.
