I have to travel long distances to go to concerts. So I guess what I get is more an experience than a thing.

I would travel a long distance to get...away from it all. Sounds obvious, but it's the best I have so early in the morning.

An excellent Chicago style deep dish pizza. I used to drive all the way across Houston and back about 40 miles each way to a pizza place called "Fuzzy's". Great pizza. George Bush Sr. eats there. Also I used to drive from extreme Southwest Houston to North of Humble, easily over 50 miles each way to visit a girlfriend. So I guess I will go farther for love than food. Or used to?!

A Car, I looked high and low for a family styled hot rod(agreement with my wife). I found a 1972 Nova 4dr in need of some repair. Yet, It had mechanical upgrades already. Drove 5328.8 miles round trip to get it.

every fall we take a trip to Idaho Falls, ID for school clothes I live in a very small town and we have two stores here that sells them one is very expensive and the other is kings a very cheap store. It is a two hour drive just to get there but for quaility clothes it is worth it.
