I have a 1976 Executive motorhome with a 440 engine that has just been tuned up at a local shop. The engine backfires under throttle changes and slightly at idle even after the tune up. What else could be the problem?

    check your gas sounds like bad gas?Has it been sitting for a long time? also check your EGR valve it mite be loose.
