I've forgotten what it was like to be single but . . . I think the best part of being single would be not having to think about how your decisions or actions would affect someone else. I think the worst part of being single would be not having anyone else thinking about you before each decision they make. Maybe I shouldn't have tried to answer this question. I don't think in terms of single. I think I'm a pair.

For myself, the best part is the freedom and I don't have that extra family to deal with. The worst part is that I can't enjoy most of the benefits to being single, because I don't have the convenience.

Freedom! Using the money I would have spent on "thier" Christmas present, on something more productive, doing anything I want and not having to worry if the other person will want to do it too.

The best: I can come and go as I please. I can stay up all night if I want. I can holler and scream at the TV and no one gets upset. I can be alone when I want to. The worst: those moments when you long for someone to share something you're experiencing, and there's no one there. It's tough for couple oriented things like cruises, Vegas weekend getaways, weddings, etc. I've been without a mate for 9 years now and it doesn't get any easier. Have you ever seen a fabulous sunset or heard a breathtaking symphony and had no one to share it with. Can be tough sometimes. Good luck.

Best is being able to come and go...not answer to anyone...come home when ya want... Worst is not having someone to come home too and share how great or terrible your day was..and lay in bed with and laugh at tv shows...no one to snuggle with on cold nights... wow i think the bad outweighs the good !!
