Derek Jeter
BARRYBONDS AND TONY GWYNN!

Derek Jeter No Contest
George...Bush...

Ichiro Suzuki
Lou Gehrig.
I don't have one because I like a real sport like football. So,none of these overpaid steroid pumped fools are a favorite of mine.
Babe Ruth !
Either George Brett or Rod Carew.......or Mike Schmidt.
reggie willits
Angels baby
a-roid
Nolan Ryan, he was a great pitcher.
For me it's a toss up between Mariano Rivera and Derek Jeter.
I have a few, but my favorite would probably have to be Jeff Francoeur. He's the nicest guy I've ever met. He's not like some of the guys who think their the sh*t and don't sign for anyone. Jeff would sign for every person who came into a game if they all stood in line to get his autograph. He may not be the best, but he's defiantly not the worse and he's so good with the fans. Best of all has one of the best cannons in the game today.
ernie mr cub banks
Lou Gherig.
Aki and Upton...
Right now, Brian Roberts. All time, Cal Ripken, Jr. ...Can you tell I'm an O's fan! :)
Reggie Jackson
Joe Bover... played for the A's when i was a kid and signed my mitt for me, i was hunting for a Mark McGuire or Jose Canseco at the time, but i was happy to have someone sign it!
Of all time, Pete Rose, in today's game, I go for the unsung hero types who just shut up and play, try hard every day, play through injuries and don't try to get unwarranted attention for themselves. Guys like Benji Molina in SF, or Marc Ellis in Oakland. I think my favorite guy today though is Ichiro Suzuki, the guy is a hit machine.
Brian Roberts!
Currently playing, A.J. Pierzynski. Might not be the nicest guy in the world (those reports otherwise are quite exaggerated), but I like his attitude. "Nicest" baseball player would go to Jim Thome.
Lance Berkman, cuz he is real, no ego, just a regular dude like you and me. He could be the local grocer or the meter reader, or the postman, wouldn't matter, he would be the same. Gotta love a multi-millionaire without over-inflated ego, rare thing these days.
Babe Ruth
Ted Williams :-)
Mr Derek Jeter .
I'm finding myself rooting for Kosuke Fukudome (Chicago Cubs) a lot lately.
The single most dominant man to step foot on the diamond, and my all time favorite player is Pedro Martinez.
Being a Sox fan my favorite player right now is Lars Anderson(power hitting 1b in minor leagues) future AL MVP.
As much as he is hated i love Shea Hillenbrand. More favorites are Jacoby Ellsbury, Dustin Pedroia, Nomar Garciaparra, and Pedro Martinez
Carl Michael Yastrzemski
Right now it's Mariano Rivera.
Current:
Ian Kinsler
Michael Young
Nick Markakis
Brian Roberts
Josh Hamilton
Retired:
Cal Ripken Jr.
Brooks Robinson
Nolan Ryan
Jim Palmer
Yogi Berra
Josh Hamilton
Jabba Chamberlain for the NY Yankees. Struck out 12 in less than 6 innings last night but took the loss. He's just made the starting rotation this Spring and needs to completely adjust.
Babe Ruth.
No one can or has touched him yet!
Alex Rodriguez
Cecil Fielder.
The last name says it all.
Slightly biased here as a Bluejays fan (but then I expect everyone else is picking players from their favorite clubs too so maybe I have nothing to apologise for), but mine would be Roy Halladay... he is just so hard to hit, just being out on the mound relaxes his teammates so much, he is such a great leader by example. He is uncomplicated, doesn't look to strike out 15 batters every game, just goes about the business of getting outs and winning games and does it better than most other pitchers in the game. Also gotta love his loyalty for sticking with the Jays since he debuted in 1998 and not cashing in on his huge market value by testing free agency with another club.
Barry Bonds
Juan Pierre. He replaced Manny on the Dodgers during the 50 game suspension and did better than Manny!!!
The best catcher of all time: Ivan Rodriguez.
