    They are decorating terms. The middle part of the curtain that drapes down in a "u" shape is a swag and the parts hanging on the sides are jabots.

    A Swag is a gift given to someone by a charity, company, organization or a group of people.

    A Jabot is a ruffle on the front of a woman's blouse or a man's shirt
    flounce, frill, furbelow, ruffle - a strip of pleated material used as a decoration or a trim
