Why do men kill more than women?

Because they have smaller brains & less thinking abilities. They don't get as emotional as we do & they react quicker then they think. Women tend to think the situation out & unless its the worse case situation we don't like to kill but men do because they are hunters by nature. Women are more nurtoring(sorry for the spelling) Most women feel bad for killing anything(bugs, animals) but men find it to be something to brag about.

I think it is because of the testosterone..and if they add steroids to the mix, it's really bad.

Actually, men are more emotionally unstable than women. But they're taught not to vent their emotions like women. Leading men to tend to be more sociologically unstable.

Aside from hormones and a bent toward genetic agressiveness, a lot of it apparently has to do with the way men and women are socialized. Women, as they grow, tend to turn pain and anger inward; this can manifest itself through eating and other disorders. Men, on the other hand, are socialized to vent their aggression outward; this helps assert their dominance. What you end up with is one sex being more aggressive than the other. Genetics and hormones have a lot to do with it, but women generally don't display angry or aggressive tendencies and this is learned early. That's why more women will take their lives with pills and "softer" means of suicide and men tend to use guns or hang themselves.

AnonymousGirl: I actually was not, in any way, attacking Sheriff Raff. She is entitled to think exactly how she wants to without receiving any scrutiny for it. However, there is a place and a time for it. This is neither the place nor the time. It does not relate to the question. I was looking for specific answers that have facts behind them not a RELIGIOUS answer. Good for you that you are against abortion and aren't religious. Unfortunately, the opposition of abortion is, in fact, based off of religion. Sorry. Additionally, how is it possible for you to make a solid decision about my stance on abortion? How do you know that I, too, am not against it? You can't. So stating that I'm trying to "shut up" opposing views, is not only irrelevant, but incorrect. Lastly, your entire response was a pathetic attempt at a temper tantrum/power trip. I understand that everyone gets brave when they don't have to face the person they are attacking, but do you really have room to tell ME to grow up?
