  • Hmm that's a hard one. Both could kill you, but at least with Global Warming there are clear causes and there are solutions. I don't think we're ever going to figure out how to stop terrorism (the only solution I can think of is total annihilation of the human species). So even though GW is catastrophic I'm going with terrorism.
  • Terroism of course...global warming takes many hundreds of years to do damage...terroism takes 2 secs
  • Terrorism; it is immediate and harder to control.
  • I would say global for it affects all generations and especially the ones to come.Terrorism is localized and not a big issue, but global warming will hurt many million people. Many generations are affected and loss of life and loss of a way of living on a large scale is undoubtedly more of a concern to all.
  • Terroism without a doubt, it not only kills innocent people but further builds hatred and intollerance. Global warming will affect the environment and the people but the world will continue and eventually the nations will pull together to overcome. The world will survive global warming, it will simply be different.
  • Definitely terrorism, because there is intent to harm other humans there. The thoughts behind it are vicious and borne of misconceptions. Global warming is also bad but thats an entirely different story!
  • they are both caused my using petroleum
  • Well, you can have a planet without people but you can't have people without a planet. Global warming is hands down the most serious problem that needs attention.
  • Terrorism is worst if you are the target.
  • Global warming. Because there would be so much pollution we would all die.
  • Terrorism because it is real. Global warming is a farce, even the Weather Channel's founder says so.
  • I suppose if I were to be completely objective about it, I'd have to look at the statistics. How many people have died from terrorism to date vs. global warming? Probably far more from terrorism. How many will die in the future? That is more difficult to project. Already hurricanes and typhoons are on the rise, the ice caps in both the Arctic and Antarctic are melting more quickly than even the extremists predicted, and our models all contain dubious assumptions. Nobody really knows for sure what the long term effects will be, but 99% of scientists that actually do climatology research agree that there will be significant consequences to food production and coastlines globally, regardless of what the owner of the weather channel thinks.
  • Terrorism. When dealing with massive, chaotic systems, such as Earth's atmosphere, it's difficult in the extreme to pinpoint the reasons for changes. Everything from our solar system's movement around the galactic rim, to bovine flatulence has an impact.
  • Terrorism. Global warming is a good thing if it helps the economy.
