I have had two children, my first was drug free but my second I had an epidural. The only reason for that is because I was in labor for 11 hours and wasn't dialating any further than 4cm, 10 minutes after my epi my water broke and I was at a full 10cm and ready to have him.

I have 3 children. I have only used the gas with all of them. My mother has had 7 kids, and all except 2 were completely drug free. The 2 that were not were c-sections!

Epidural and Potosin the first time, but only got to 3cm, so we have had all three via Cesarean.

I birthed both times drug free. I did not want my babies coming into the world on drugs. Your body releases natural endorphines anyway...

I always planned on natural childbirth with a mid wife and my husband attending since he's a massage therapist and has trained in prenatal and pregnancy massage.
