I let it pile up until laundry day which is either Saturday or Monday and occasionally on Wednesday. In college, many years ago, I let it pile up well past laundry day and started "recycling."
-
Normally it piles up until we can't get any more in the washing basket, then either myself or husband does it.
-
I wait until I have enough clothes, towels, sheets or whatever for a load. I usually just wait until Saturday to do laundry. Sometimes Sunday but rarely Friday since I am burned out from the work week and want to stop and do nothing for the rest of the day. It gets expensive for what it costs to do laundry quick at a $1.25 to wash and $1 to dry. I also have to dry at least twice if I wash my comforter or multiple towels at the same time. Or both at once.
