You have 9 coins. All look the same, but one coin is a little heavier than the rest. You have a simple balance scale. How can you figure out which coin is the heaviest in only two weighings w/ the balance?

you put 3 coins on each site of the scale. if one site is heavier there is the coin. When they are the same weight the heavier coin is in the left 3 coins. On the second weighing you take one coin on each side. When one side is heavier u got the heavier coin on this side. Whens the same weight the heavier coin is left over.

Name the balls :1; 2; 3; 4; 5; 6; 7; 8; 9; Simple You take 6 balls and then put 3 on one end and three on the other. Now there are two sets on both sides on 123 and other 456. If on of them is heavier then you know that the uncommon ball is in that set for e.g. 123 You weigh 1 and 2 if one of them i heavier then that's the ball that is uncommon but if they are both equal then 3 is the ball. If both the sets(123 and 456) are equal then do the same thing done above with 789 and you will find it out
