If I think too hard, my brain hurts and I have to just stop thinking. People take this as me being stupid, but really it's just that if you focus too long on something 'deep' (say, the vastness of space) it's hard to handle...ah, I'm not making any sense. It's like in that film, "American Beauty" where the guy films the dead bird and the plastic bag because otherwise the sheer beauty of everything in the world would overwhelm him.
